Dear Conscious Leader,
Do you want to share the power of great
books with like-minded leaders?
If you are like me, you are a life-long
learner, and reading
life-changing
books is key to your personal and
professional enjoyment and success.
My intention
is to blend the power of literacy with
the collective energy and wisdom of our
literacy circle. We will read
books and take focused actions to
enhance our learning. These gatherings
are designed to help
grow you and grow
your business.
Entrepreneurs,
corporate managers, small and microbiz
owners will truly appreciate this
experience.
The selection of books is meant to
build your library
of knowledge, and support
you in developing yourself as a
successful conscious leader, from the
inside out.
The authors and topics are diverse and
powerful. Providing myriad
opportunities to review and
discuss the vaired elements that define
our world and us
as leaders. A year of books
and community to
inform and inspire your mind, body and
spirit.
I have chosen books that can be read and
discussed within a month. There
are others, e.g., Peter Senge's, The
Fifth Discipline, Good to Great
or The World Is Flat , but these would probably take
more than one month to properly engage.

The power of
community is key in developing
yourself as a conscious leader.
This is an
authentic group coaching experience,
which means that ultimately the group
will lead in choosing and confirming
what we read and review. I, as
professional coach-leader, will contribute expertise
to ensure learning, from the inside out.
This will allow a valuable exchange
whether or not you come to the circle having completed
the book-of-the-month.

Do I have to read the whole book in
order to join the circle?
You will
get more from each call if you do, but I
know life happens, so completion of the
book before the call is not mandatory.
Actually, one of the best parts of this
literacy circle is that I read the
books (usually for the 2nd time) and
lead the members around the
key elements. Of course, you get
more out of each call when you can read
(or listen to mp3 of) the book, but it
is not mandatory. More important
is your active participation, collective
energy and wisdom. You are welcome
to bring reflections about the book, questions or other information
related to the topic. Note: books are
not included in your membership.
You must acquire them on your own.
Why is it free?
Because I
love books and have always enjoyed the
power of sharing books in community.
My business is growing and my daughter
is busy with sports so my evenings are
not as free to attend books club
meetings. So, I've created this
group so we can share, learn and grow
virtually. And, we get to know
each other better, as leaders and
business people. Think of this as
book-centered networking. |
